You can also read about the Oberdorf synagogue at the Allemania Judaica web site. Even though it's in German, you should get an idea of what they're talking about. It has a picture (attached in a previous blog as well) of the Torah that Haium donated to the synagogue in 1845. The cover is probably not the original. It also has a picture of Haium’s dry-goods store (Textilwarengeschäft).
